I think you should get a better internet then : 3
The update shouldn’t take more than 10 mins[/quote]
I hope the internet speed in my country actually that fast

@Djiesse
Oh, now that makes sense. I thought America itself is only 2 timezones
How can I mark your post as the answer?
@BlackboltLW
What?
Downloads for Dirty Bomb barely take any time. The update size is small. The only patch that took me more than 10 minutes to download was ReV.
Because there’s no other time where
A. The company is in the office
B. Where there is somebody who’s NOT playing

Wait what. How do you get 26 ping with 2.5 MB/s .-. Is the server being hosted in your house?
@bontsa
I’m not complaining, it’s a question.
And what I’m talking about is the maintenance time, NOT the download time.
I also said that it can happen in the morning when they just get to the office.
Please read my post

@FrostyVampire Your ping to servers has nothing to do with your internet speed as long as that connection is stable and has enough bandwidth up and down to play the game. Virtually all multiplayer games require very little bandwidth to the point of it being laughable at the requirements.
So if any person from an ISP tries to sell you a faster speed to help improve pings or stabilize pings then you need to quickly hang up and call again and ask for somebody else. Because they are scamming you. Sadly that practice is extremely common.
Technically we are in 6. But only 4 on the main land
As others have mentioned, it’s the easiest time for Splash Damage and Nexon to sync up and still make sure each other is in the office after the patch to monitor that nothing goes wrong.
We also need to actively be at our PCs for the patching process, there is a surprising amount that goes into it all that requires human interaction throughout.
I changed the thread to “Q&A” so you should be able to mark an answer. Cheers!
But in Europe we are not able to play in the whole afternoon or more (depending of the maintenance duration)
I think time for maintenances shoud be late at night there, early at morning here, but I understand that developers have to work also, and they have to see what goes wrong instead of analyzing a log file to do the same.
thx for your hard work in this game. there’s no other one like this.
