Question to Splash Damage.

Long time,

Will your next game support Linux, like ETQW ?

(Ruben0s) #2

Will your next game have a SDK, like in ET/ETQW?

(sanDIOkan) #3

will u stop making fail games?

(Breo) #4

I don’t think there will be a SDK or Linux support if their next game is multiplatform.

(Ruben0s) #5

So sad.

I wonder in what kind of state brink would have been with a SDK on the pc from the beginning. Atleast we would have had tons of maps/mods.

Or ET without a sdk, we would have had 6 maps instead of thousands ( I found over 5.000 maps, most of them are ****). And we would be playing ETmain which nobody plays for years.

(tokamak) #6

You keep believing that.

(.Chris.) #7

I think almost everyone left in ET:QW modding was interested in making the move to Brink, ETQWPro/Wolfpro team was interested, some ET mappers were also interested. There wouldn’t have been tonnes of content but there would have been a few beta maps by now and a working BrinkPro at the very least. Plus someone would have made a better UI.

(tokamak) #8

To be honest I would be interested to see ETQW and Brink content merge. Not sure if that’s legal in the first place, but still, interesting nonetheless.

(Senethro) #9

Just speaking of crossovers, I’m a touch surprised that id/Epic haven’t been desperate enough to do a Quake vs. Unreal yet. Maybe only Capcom feels the need to pit their series vs everyone?

(Hygain) #10

oh dear

I paid for my ETQW PC version in EUR, i never get Brink and deserve a produkt without bugs and more content.

:head burst into flames: :o
