Another forum I go on has a question thread for minor problems. It is really convenient because experienced editors could easily just look at a single thread and answer numerous questions in a single post. I’m sure it could cut back on the number of repetative threads. In the main post for the thread there could be a list of links for commonly addressed problems and the whole thread would be put together by people who visit that section of the forums.

Well it’s true what you say. I’ll talk to some ppl here and maybe get something for you ;’)
It’s not that we can’t get it together; it’s rather that some people won’t look at it.
Right now we repeat ourselves or link to an older topic in all of these new threads. When this “one topic to rule them all” would pop up, we’d simply link to that one instead. So I think it’s not worth the hassle.
A wiki, on the other hand, would be interesting.
