Question: The Chat Sent A Message In-Game Saying We Could Leave Without Penalty?

Yesterday night my friend and I (I’m rank 10, he’s rank 13) decided to do a competitive since we both are pretty decent players. But we got matched against a team of rank 19, 47, 38 and those crazy ranks. I’m sure they aren’t hacking but they are just really good. They started spawn camping less than 1 minute in. The rank 38 Sparks player could “snipe” you flawlessly almost every shot. And this isn’t the first time I’ve gone against high leveled players.
Soon people left our team, and the chat indicated a message (probably a bot or something automatic?) said that we could leave without penalty, so my friend and I left. But it still asked me that if was sure that I wanted to leave cause I’ll get a penalty, but I left anyways since either way we lost. I don’t know if I still got the penalty. Anyone ever encountered this before?

I would still like to know if these games count towards your ELO or not (For the winners).

I don’t think anyone knows yet. Might try and ask the devs on a Livestream later today.

Yeah I’ve been wondering this as well. I’ve won about 5 games since getting a rank and have yet to go up a tier. Perhaps more are required I don’t know, some indication of progress would be nice though.
