hey so i recently hit level 7, and from the digging iv done iv found out ranked mode is supposed to open up at that level. Iv looking around ingame’s homescreen and went into quickjoin but found no Ranked/Competitive modes. Does this mean there is no Ranked mode on DB? or am i just blind and cant see it or looking in the wrong place?

Ranked is currently down because season 1 just ended. Season 2 should start in early 2017 if I remember correctly so just wait 2-3 weeks.
Tbh, I have no idea why did they remove it in the first place.
But please do everyone a favor: before you start ranked, make sure you unlock some mercs and play what you need. For example: don’t play Skyhammer on Underground, or if you don’t have a medic in your team, go medic
