Question for the devs, regarding Pineapple Juggler

I’ll keep it simple, if you guys can make changes like nerfing chopper, why can’t you remove or re purpose pineapple juggler?

I heard it was because you can’t do anything about cards already in people’s loadouts…but if that’s true…how are you able to nerf/buff augments?

And if you can edit them…why not repurpose pineapple juggler to show a grande indicator when it’s nearby?

Kinda like how it is in Call of Duty, and it works for Frags, Naders Nades, Concussion nades, etc?

Well, throwing knife was completely replaced with quick slash not long ago so there is precedent for messing with cards/abilities that people already have.

I think it’s just not a priority issue as it’s an augment that isn’t on a lot of cards and really doesn’t affect that many people so they aren’t going to use dev time to figure out a good replacement for it right now. I’d wager it’s on the books as as “nice to have” and something to update at a later date when they add in more cards and re-work some augments. I mean, technically, it works. It’s just not very useful.

Hu did the Devs ever went on record, that they can’t change pineapple juggler?

I’m with Amerika here looking into augments on their own is obviously a low priority thing considering that the boni they give are rather low.

The nerf to Chopper was a different thing since it was part of the overall package of recalibrating melee.

Pineapple on the other hand works fine as is. Its problem is that Fragger players default to priming nades, think about it if (however) the situation was in a way, that maybe 10% of the Fragger nades get primed Pineapple jugler would be instantly one of the best augments there is.

I have pineapple juggler on my redeye gold card and it has definitely saved me and my smokes arse a few times, wish it could be used on stickies aswell. it would be great if i could grab a sticky of a wall and lob it back

I think it should be buffed so that player can pick up any explosive and throw it back, yes including stikkies, airsupport beakons, frags, nader nades.
It would also make them NOT explode while you are holding them (atleast for 2s)

Well they still haven’t replaced Lock On for Fletcher so good luck getting them to rework an entire perk right now. :frowning:
