question about type of classes

Smart button also grabs, pulls, etc. Will it take longer for a heavy to climb a box? Can a heavy even pull himself up to certain locations? DarkAngel can you link me to a quote about this if its somewhere on the forums (I probably missed it somewhere). It would be interesting if lights had access to alternative routes that weren’t available to heavy or normal types.

It’ll be in the Q&A thread somewhere by Rahdo, it was basically confirmed that there will be areas that lights can reach and heavies can’t. It didn’t specify climbing speed I believe, but i took it as a given that heavies would climb slower.

Any body type can be any class. You can change classes in-game also. As of now, body types are permanent per character. If you wanted to change body types in game, you would have to change to a whole new character.

So is there a limit to how many times you can change your character (body size)?

yup, you can change body type between matches, but not during. shiro, thanks for reminding me about my old long post. will ask badman again if he can somehow dig it up. i could rewrite it, i suppose, but i’m old and tired

So basically you get the initial choice then your stuck till the match ends then you can change the next map
