MG construction points are at set places in the levels, and Engineers of either faction can construct them. They can then be used by anybody, and they can’t be destroyed or damaged once constructed.
We’ve had them be faction-specific and damageable, but those didn’t work as well as we would’ve liked in playtests. They have standard-ish overheat meters like in many other shooters, and thus have infinite ammo.[/QUOTE]
Well… That was pretty much everything that we wanted to know and more
… Except for these things:
- Will the shield actually protect your head, as seen in the A Matter of Class trailer?
- Will the machine guns have different looks depending on what team constructed it?
- Will they be overpowered?
