in my new project there are birds.
if you kill them while they are flying (well… i like birds but i need something that can fly ^^) shall they just “disappear” or fall down to the ground… well… just disapper would be much easier because there will b many birds i think which all fly the same specific route.
if you want to see those birds falling down in a map i would do it this way, off course!
what do you think?
question about something on my new map project
In my opinion, i think they should fall down. It is much cooler then just dissapearing Birds. I played one of those Sniper Maps (Dont Remember The Name) that had birds in it, and when you shot one of them the bird just dissapeared, wich gave a realy wiered and crummy feeling to me at least 
But both would be okey.
If you have a whole flock of birds, and their flight isnt very long, you can get away with making a few birds fall if shot. Lets say, make one mover with 8 or 10 birds that wont die, and make several individual bird movers scattered throughout, that when death is called in script it moves them down to the ground. Thatd probably work out pretty well, and look good if you used splines.
falling birds are much better. Imagine you shoot a bird in ral life and it disappears… weird isnt it?
well i’m working on a way to have as much birds i want which fall down…
my idea:
all birds have the same route but different origins=> so no bird flies into another bird…and all can fall down…
well it works but i have problems… because it works not the way i want to, but it is useable
