Question about multiplayer.

So I was ready to buy the game (PC version), but then I read lot of comments about how difficult it is to actually play with your friends. I would like someone who has the game to clarify how the situation really is. Also is there any word from splash damage about making it easier to play with your friends? Me and my friend are really tempted to buy the game but if we can’t play together, we won’t.

it’s dedicated servers, you can join just like W:ET and ET:QW through server browser
it’s consoles that need the lobby system because they are peer to peer only

Thanks for the quick reply. I may buy the game today then:)

If you have the PC Version, you can play with or against your friends without a problem. There are dedicated servers for pc (but not for ps3 and x-box)

The only problems I heard are playing coop or hosting a listen server. Also the challenges but that falls under the same thing as coop.

btw the “coop” is just bot matches strung together to form some kind of pseudo campaign.

Then it’s all good as we were more interested about the multiplayer experience than the campaign one. Ty again everyone for your quick answers.

you can also LAN, but you’ll need an internet connection for login then you can go offline
