Does the mini-gun have to spin its barrels before firing, and if so for how long?

Come on really, how are we supposed to know that? the game is not even finished yet. There is still lots of balancing to be done I am sure.
I hope it does have to spin it’s barrel. It turns it into a completely different role than when it doesn’t have to spin.
I really pleaded for this in Shattered Horizon as well during the weapons beta. No cigar.
The Hyper Blaster did in ETQW and in RTCW the venom did ( I know they didnt make it ) so I would assume it will in Brink else it would be too powerful…
If I’m not mistaken, there are something like 5 HMGs that can be unlocked? Im hoping for diversity sake, they dont all function the same way. So that if you want to pick a gun that winds up like the Hyper you can. But if you want something GPMGish you can opt for that as well.
From the pictures of the guns that I saw, it looks like they have HM’s and LMG’s, so I don’t think they will need to spin.
I want them to spin! Please sd make my dream come true!!!^^

If there were 5 HMGs, then wouldn’t it be more interesting to give each one strengths and weaknesses in the 5-10 typical weapon attributes? I can envision a HMG with a spinning barrel that has a high rate of fire with high damage but is balanced by horrible accuracy and an initial spin time. Another HMG with a single barrel could be the opposite and be better for assault rather than suppression.
Hopefully, with multiple weapons in the same “weapon class” each weapon will have some personality but not be an overpowered weapon by itself or with a particular “perk” or attachment. Although, isn’t that the point of weapon balancing?
