question about competitive

is the rank based on how you are playing or how your team is playing, because if its the second option well… fuck this shit

I still have no idea how the rank is determined. I would love to know this, too.
Is it based on personal skill? Only on the wins/losses? Or both so playing well AND winning is a must.
Or if your team AND you must play well and win?

if it depends on win/loses or your team… that’s just not fair

@BananaSlug Maybe so, but the assumption is that you should be almost carrying your teams (constantly top-fragging) to rank up.

Nearly every rank based game uses win/loss ratio with a few things else thrown in. CSGO for example uses round win/loss (vs game win/loss) as well as taking in MVP (so if you’re MVP you gain more % of Elo than the rest of your team)

My guess is DB uses game Win/Loss and maybe even win/loss time? (How long it took to win or lose on each side) And maybe gives negligible Elo for support xp and the like.

Totally speculation mind you.

Well I have to be happy with my Gold 5 trinket then. I don’t have fun in comp against lvl 0 steams with 16 hrs. playtime wrecking 30K scores.

I was told that is rests completely on win/loss ratio, believe this was even confirmed on a stream.

any way someone wanna help me getting gold before the restart :stuck_out_tongue:
( EU, didnt played single comp )

Based on Wins and Losses and it sounds like you have a month+ before they are reset for Season 1. So once this update is out grind away to get your best Rank!
