Question about an Op breaking disguise

(Chili Squirts) #1

If an operative slides into a group of enemies (ideally from behind) and knocks them all over, will it break his disguise?

(Nail) #2

they might guess

not sure if he’d lose disguise though

(At the Gates) #3

Yes it will.

(Achtung) #4

In ET if you used the knife and no one saw you you kept your disguise.

(At the Gates) #5

In Brink, anything that involves attacking the enemy, will remove your disguise. It was explained in one of the Get SMART Series videos.

(Chili Squirts) #6

Does sliding into them count as attacking though?

(Nail) #7

They’re going to shoot you no matter, I certainly would

(RadBrad31) #8

Anything breaks your disguise. Even reloading. They haven’t come out and said sliding will break disguise, but I would assume if reloading your gun breaks your disguise, so does sliding into an enemy and knocking them down.

(Chili Squirts) #9

Reloading doesn’t break your disguise.

2:00

That’s where they talk about op disguise. Says it will be broken when interacting with the outside world. I would say sliding into an enemy would count as “interact”.

Fixed. Protip add #t=XmXs to a youtube link if you would like to start it at a specific time.

I just meant that as go to the 2:00 mark. I’m not good with that kinda stuff.

I guess it depends on how the slide into players mechanic actually works
If it invokes a technical knockdown or inflicts damage, then this should lose your disguise
