Question about accounts/ID's/in-game names

Just wondering how the accounts all tie together between WarChest/Splash Damage/these forums?

I used to be a hardcore ET player back in the day, and had an account on the Splash Damage forums with a join date of 2004. “Demanufacturer”

I created a WarChest account at some stage, once day reminiscing about the “good old ET days” I came across RAD soldiers and made an account in WarChest before it came out. I never ended up grabbing the iOS game.

Anyway, for some reason, probably same as before, I stumbled on splash damage tonight and had never heard about dirty bomb but immediately threw $360AUD (at time of writing) at it - I already had this WarChest account so I signed up with that and well, here I am, as “Dman” (short for Demanufacturer)

So you might be wondering whats my goddamn point. Well, is it possible to merge my VIP package and “Demanufacturer” and my old Splash Damage forum account?

Also, are the in-game names hard-coded to the WarChest account? (kinda like COD Black Ops seems to be on steam?) Or will you be able to /name thisismynamenow in the console?

(Still yet to even load the alpha, still downloading.)

I think when WarChest launched you should have just been able to sign-in with your old account anyway.

At the moment names are “hardcoded”, but there was mention that if possible we’ll be able to change them at some point.

Demanufacturer, the guy who took an Aus ET team to Quakecon? I remember that! :smiley: (as in not there personally but was following the ET scene at the time and thought it was a cool story)
