Not at all - since it’s a “first come, first serve”-deal any early bets will 1) have the freedom of picking from a lot of available dates 2) have the downside of perhaps making a rushed bet due to lack of information.

It’s a clear tradeoff. =)

And that is why no second bets or re-bets are allowed. If that would be the case then the same 21 guys would be able to continously fill up the bet-board with their bets after each of them time out repeatedly.

Since this bet was posted after the target date was announced by Hollenshead we cannot accept it as a valid entry. As id deals with ‘when it’s done’, I can only assume this date will be the retail-date and hence it counts as the announcement of the winning entry.

I will sum up this competition shortly.

No kidding. :roll: Actually, I posted that after the first official release date confirmation (gone gold)… I mean… I posted that back in June but there was some weird forum time stamp issue which reordered my post… umm… yeah.
