quake wars is one of the best multiplayer game ever. i remember when my parents wanted to take me to the psychologist because first year i spend 16 hours per day with gaming:) even i was dreaming about strogg invasion

It’s been one hell of a run, and hopefully we’ll still be celebrating in 3 more years. Many thanks to the gents at splash damage for the class game. Will definitely go down as one of the best FPS games.

Been playing since the 1st beta and still playing today, there’s not many games that keep you playing for 3 years and still enjoy it.

Wow, three years already… that’s crazy!
Nice to read all the great comments here, it was the first shipped game I worked on full-time and, not only that, I know I’ve spent at least 200 hours playing ET:QW online with you guys and gals.
And even after all of that, Seanza won’t let me live down the one time he killed me with a Violator beacon…

the summer I spent on the ETQW beta was the summer I got fired from a job, and failed Biochem.

Three years ago, I went from Splash Damage newb to life long fan and all to took was the demo of ET:QW
