Q3map2 shadermanual

(Hr.O) #1

Ydnar, could you please zip it up and make it available for d-loading? Some of us mappers do not have a continuous i-net connection.

thnx in advance

The only reason why I didn’t create a downloadable zip version of the manual at this time was because it’s still undergoing constant revisions. I didn’t want people to use older versions of the manual and then blame me for incorrect/outdated info. You can, theoretically right-click > view source > save as each page if you were desperate though - since it’s 90% text

If you like I can e-mail the latest version to you.

or you could use wget or something like that to grab the whole thing.

I hope so, too.
There are 3 reasons for it.

  1. virus might invade while browsing :banghead:
  2. malicious script might run while browsing :banghead:
  3. evil guy might invade while browsing :banghead:

But obsidian’s opinion really makes sense.
Just waiting for it to be ziipped ATM. :moo:

@obsidian :
Did you ever consired to compile it into a windows help file for downloading (I guess most mappers use windows)? Fulltext search would be nice side effect.
