Hi all, I don’t know if this is the relevant forum or not, so feel free to tell me off if it’s not.
Basically, I have started messing around with animating various parts of my map (for Jedi Academy SP) and am looking to create a few roff files (ship flybys and landings etc). I’ve looked at the SoF2_Animating_Objects.doc from Raven and is basically says i’ll need to save the object I want to animate and convert it to a lightwave object using the switch “-lwo”, but this being for sof2map.
Does q3map2 have a switch like this? I’ve looked at the -format switch and that can only recompile .bsps between q3 engine games and .ase models.
[not strictly q3map2 based] Can anyone tell me if roff files hold the geometry / mesh data or just the animation / movement data? If just the animation, I can just use .ase’s for now.
Thanks in advance!
