Q3Map2 for mac... Fou comme d'la crotte.

(U.S.S. Speed) #1

I just see that ydnar release a version for mac (X11/Darwin) of Q3Map2…

Like we said in French, Chu fou comme d’la crotte… (Over ecxited)

Anyway, how do I run that?
I have no experience of X11, and so far I was compiling on Virtual PC/Win98SE

Anybody has a tut to run it on X11?

It’s a console app. It doesn’t need x11 to run.

You might want to write a shell script to control it though.

I don’t see… It’s a app to use in the terminal?
Cuz it appear only as a file…

And while I just begin to understand how to do a batch files, I have no idea of what a shell script is. :bored:

Seam I need to forget that untill someone make a tut… :disgust:

It’s not a “tutorial”, but last week I put up a little guide to getting the Mac build up and running.

It assumes that you’re comfortable navigating around with a command line and with typing stuff.

Cool!

It works now.

Even if I need to find how to make all the command in one shot… Cuz I need to write them one after the other. :disgust:
