Q3Map2 and compiling

(Igloo) #1

Hello,

I was searching an Enemy Territory compiling guide to Q3map2 Toolz… here of course, but it’s quite late and I can’t find anything. Do you know any website about this? Sure you do, so give it to me, please. Thanks!

There are so many build options in bsp, vis, light. I have no idea what such a thing like nohint does?

Greetings,
Igloo

OK, I read this, thanks men! But a problem in my q3map2toolz is stupid… I can see such a thing after compiling:

No sky, textures changed their cords (mean I fit them, but they are much “smaller”). Screen is dark, because I made this by a PrintScreen and Paint method… anyway my compiling commands look like this below:

"C:\Program Files\GtkRadiant-1.4\q3map2.exe" -meta -skyfix -game et "C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\maps\map3.map"
"C:\Program Files\GtkRadiant-1.4\q3map2.exe" -vis -v -game et "C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\maps\map3.bsp"
"C:\Program Files\GtkRadiant-1.4\q3map2.exe" -light -patchshadows -samples 3 -samplesize 1 -shade -thresh 0.1 -game et "C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\maps\map3.bsp"

Do you have any idea?
