Q3Map2.5.16

(Darkix) #1

Yeah, I’m new to it all :S
I downloaded it, and unzipped it.
Now what?
I don’t know where to put the dll’s or how to run the program! :stuck_out_tongue:
Btw, I’m Using GtkRadiant 1.3.8.
Also, If I download GtkRadiant 1.4.0 Or GtkRadiant 1.5.0 Will I still be able to keep the map I’m working on? Last time I tried, it came up all with shader missing.
Thanks for your help!

yes u can keep working on the same map with a newer version

I use 1.3.8 sometimes, but that is because it is on a pentium 2 that cant handle any higher

yes you will be able to work on your map with different versions. however the thing with shaders missing is probably that you havent set the paths in your preferences.

With the Q3map comes a small readme which tells you where to put which files.
If you have a slow computer, you also really want to get Q3map2build for your compiles, so you don’t have to compile with Radiant.
