where can I download q3map2 2.5.16 for Linux (Ubuntu)?

I don’t know if there’s a .deb package, but you can get a .tar.gz here.

How can I use it under Ubuntu? Do I need to compile it? I am a bit n00b at Linux :oops:

Create a folder q3map2 for example and put the .tar.gz inside. Extract the archive with “tar xzvf q3map_2.5.16_linux_x86.tar.gz”. The content will be extracted to a new subfolder “q3map_2.5.16_linux_x86”.
