q3map error (think so)

Hi,

i will post now three shots

the first 2 are in from my-mapping ET installtion (weith custom textures), loaded the BSP.

the last shot is from my map-test ET Installation, without any custom material,pk3 loaded.

ok some more infos_

on the first moment…you can think…he just forgot some gfx files in the pk3, but it isnt so.
for exaple see the BOXES, you can see theri texture on all side, but only on the one side not…it with all textures like this…the textures are their, but in this area they were not shown.

i was working with:

  • penumbra shadow in the light-entities
  • lightkey: _style
  • lightmapscale in the worldspawn

and the rest shouldnt matter

any idea ???

you could try doing some test compiles without a lighting stage, like just bsp -meta -vis -fast, and see if the tex show up.

if they dont, and youve checked your pk3`s then it would suggest the lighting is fooking up somehow.

ups, just learned, that you need an additional shader using light-style…nice…
