It’s not the same as GTK, but it’s nicer than the old keys movement.
Q3Map 2.5.11 - Always owning it, always looking good
Hi,
Sorry, my previously reported slowdown was caused by my computer needing a reboot, as it does after a long day of editing/compiling/testing.
Starting multiple OpenGL hardware sessions is a good way to slow the computer, but it doesn’t usually lock on a compile.
I am still getting light light/splash leaks through the roofs of my buildings though.
I lowered the offending roof lightmap resolution to 64 units to minimize the visibility (and get a bit of lightmap space back (it’s a large map.)) but it is still visible if you know what to look for. (light splotches coming right through the roofs.)
If you have enough computer, you can download the map and take a peek.

Thanks again for working on q3map,
Brenda
Q3Map2 is a commandline application. It has no user interface. You must run it from a cmd window, a batch file, or one of the many front-end apps available for it.

Question: Are portal skies available for all Q3-Engine-Games now? I’m thinking about JK2, JA or SoF2.
Besides that- just looked at your example-map: You most certainly rock!
Jedi Academy, RTCW and ET have native portal sky support.
The other games can use the new Q3Map2 portal sky hack.

Great, thanks- just wanted to make sure. (Want to complete my map for JO before transfering it to JA)
