Q or 4?

In regards to fletcher, is it better to have stickies out, or use Q? Or is it better in different situations? Any help would be appreciated.

As I understand it, you generally want to have your stickies out with 4 before throwing. It reduces the delay between pressing throw and actually throwing the sticky, which is valuable if someone is shooting back at you while you are throwing. Someone with more experience on fletcher can probably expand on this, though.

I also read that throwing a sticky with 4 remains you more walking speed than with the Q key.

Yeah 4 so you don’t have to wait for the time between lowering and raising weapons. In fact I recommend doing that with most abilities including grenades and airstrikes.

It takes a ridiculous amount of time to throw with Q. You really should just get into the habit of pressing 4 instead of 3 when using Fletcher. He does run slightly faster with a knife or stiletto out, but it’s not by much.
