PzIIc Model

(Bravo) #1

Made a model for snoox (forgot what username he uses on these forums), if anyone else wants it, you just need to ask.

A render:

I might even have a go at texturing this one, but am open to offers for that

Download untextured model (md3)

Anyone got a link to a good unwrapping tutorial for milkshape?

(Magic) #3

This model looks great Bravo.
Good work - think ill be in touch if i need something for my map

(Bravo) #4

Gonna try texturing it in a roundabout way…have to export to .obj, open in an unwrapper, re-export, then export again, import into milkshape, then export as md3…

Bit of a bugger but there you go…

Will update if I ever get it done, the actual modelling time was about 6 hours or a little less, the texturing time…well, ET:QW will probably be out first lol

Texturing so far:

Wow looks great.

(Bravo) #7

Magic and null, thanks for the positive feedback guys  Much appreciated.

Just wheels and tracks left to texture. Then a little fixing up here and there and we’re done I think…

(Higgins) #8

How do you plan on animating the tracks? Animated texture or animated mesh?

(Bravo) #9

The guy I am making this for wants it for a static model, so I haven’t taken that into consideration. However, an animated texture wont be too hard for those that do that kind of thing. The wheels are seperate objects, so are fully riggable if needed.

If anyone wants to use this model and wants any changes making to it, they only need ask

A few things left to do, some texture detailing, fix up front bit where turrets are and some seam fixing:
