What if Rhino had a spotting ability where he uses browses through military expenditures to detect any enemies that have an ability on cooldown?

Backstory doesn’t necessarily translate to abilities. Yes, I know Sparks stole the REVIVR and Kira stole her orbital laser, but those explain how they got their abilities. You don’t write a backstory and tack and ability on it, you make the ability and tack the backstory on.

Also, Rhino is an assault, and spotting wouldn’t exactly be the most useful or appropriate secondary ability for him.

Phantom is a recon but SD is pushing the “no spotting ability” on him so I don’t see the point in the last sentence.

I also think Rhino could use an offensive ability, but it doesn’t have to be much. He doesn’t need a grenade or an RC drone, he needs something small. I tried the helmet idea before but it was pretty overpowered.

Still, Phantom is technically a Recon because he can go “invis” and “spot” people. All of the Assaults have abilities that either deny ground or help kill people real fast. Putting a spotting ability on Rhino is like giving Aimee defibs and medpacks- it just doesn’t work within the class role.
