Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or can help? My friend and I have started playing via the iPad, but recently the notifications have disappeared (so I only know if he has sent me a match by actually going into the game, unlike before, when I would get an alert on the home screen). All the relevant push notifications have been set to on, but neither myself nor my friend are getting any of the alerts when we have sent each other a turn.
Any help would be appreciated!
Push notifications currently only show up if the game is minimized or closed. This is currently a limitation in the game. If pushes don’t show up at all cab you tell me what device you’re using and what network connection. (Eg Wi-Fi vs 3g)
Also the username of the affected accounts would be helpful. I might be able to figure out more then.
I agree, the notifications on my wifi only iPad are really slow too, if at all. I installed RAD soldiers on my iPhone, logged in, but leave it minimized.
I get notifications on it a few seconds before the iPad even knows my opponent has made a turn.
Seems an easy enough workaround
The delivery of the push notification is in the hands of Apple, we have no control over that. We’re sending our push notifications to apple the same way independent of if it’s a 3G device or a wifi one.
On my Ipad 3G I get notifications even though the app is closed… Which is fine but odd.
