Soooo i want to know i there is a way to purchase something as a gift i want to purchase a merc for my friend but i dont know how is there a way and if there isnt i wish they add it Thanks btw this is from ingame

Don’t know of one from memory, but I guess if it’s a RL friend of yours you could transfer a skin or something for him to sell on the steam market or login to his account, add credit and buy it from that. A lot of shops also sell steam wallet codes (basically a gift card) that you could purchase for him/her and then use that to buy the merc.

You can only gift the USP.

It would be a nice feature, but since there are many workarounds as suggested by @PaNdarat0r666 I doubt they’ll implement it any time soon.

Unless you win a merc code in a raffle. But that’s a very unlikely scenario.
