Pulsing Green Carryable Objectives

Hi,

just thought about a green “glowing” skin for carryable objectives:

Before starting:
Do you want such a mod?

Yes, why not? The technical aspect is very interesting.
How do you want to create it? With shaders?

i dont care tbh, what would be better, is that the player carrying the objective starts glowing green! Now that would be cool!!

I’ll try to change the texture paths within the models.
So there will be a shader file and the models.
I’ll ask the creators for permission first.

Just one thing: the glowing radarbox is perfect in wurzburg radar map, but in Caen (or on all other maps) where example is radarbox as no objective will also glow the thing. Just because u replace the modell md3, not the objective.
But we can live with that.

Depending on how nUllSkillZ did this, altered mapscripts with remapshader commands should help. Either by adding the glow via mapscripts in the first resp. by removing it on some maps.
