Psycho Silencers and SpecOps Scopes

(IceBrazuca) #1

Does the Silencers you get from the Psycho contain exclusive skins for silencers,
or do you just get silencers unlocked earlier?

Are the GreenEye Scopes you get from SpecOps exclusive,
or do you just get them unlocked earlier?

Many sites have different things written down, I am wondering what you guys think.

Yeah I seen that, and I know the guns, gun skins, clothing, and tattoos are exclusive.

But what about the silencers and the scope? Some sites say they are exclusive and some say its just early unlock.

Don’t see why they wouldn’t be exclusive.

ā€œthere are no plans for that - the only way to get the pre-order packs is by pre-ordering the gameā€

that is the quote i have, it refers to the whole preorder pack, not parts of it.

Alright I’m guessing its all preorder exclusives only, thanks Shadowcat.

Dunno why people are making such a big deal of it. The silencer is just a silencer but with a different skin of a can, youll be able to get silencers in the game anyway just not a can silencer…also the tatoos arent the only tatoos on the game, brink has a ridiculous customisation system. You missing out on a couple of tatoos that say DOOM on them cuts your selection by less than 1%. Also the scope is just going to be a slightly different scope, there will be loads, red dot, relfex, scopes, 2x scopes etc etc etc , its probably just going to be a green circle with a dot in it…
The pre order smg and revolver also…there are already loads of smgs and revolvers in the game, and sd will have had to be very careful to make sure that the pre-order stuff isnt more powerful as that stuff can ruin a game, which they are definately aware of. So chill. Pre order so you get the game early, not so you get a random thing which is very slightly different to the hundreds of things that come in the game.

It seems like the spec ops and the other one are actual archetypes though.

With spec ops, the face mask is ā€œsloaniā€ where as the rest of the clothing is part of the stock game.

Same with Psyko. There’s ā€œThe Grinā€ face mask, but no ā€œThe Grinā€ archetype.

Are you saying that there are a 100+ tattoos in the game??

Because with every customization video that I’ve seen, it looks like there are really no more than 16 or so options for any feature. I think decals are going to be the facet that makes each avatar feel truly unique, though I’m not sure if decals apply to every feature.

We’ve seen 9 tattoos so far, not counting any new videos out of PAX and not counting pre-order bonuses, and the videos from PAX showed that there are at least twice as many jackets as we’ve seen so far. So take that for what it’s worth.

Wouldn’t mind getting the Grin face mask and the spec ops weapon.

16-20 then?

At least, assuming the trend holds. But as everyone is keen to point out when it comes to weapon damages, there’s no way of knowing until someone unlocks them all post-launch.
