If you’re a Western/Coast North American player I’ve started a social group to keep matchmaking ping to a minimum. Remember, consoles are p2p games and unless you’ve got a stellar ISP, the closer the players are, the better quality the game. Join up!

I did a search on other PSN user lists and I couldn’t find any, but then again I only went like 3 pages into the list of threads.

well you get what you pay for. it sucks the psn got messed with but in the end you get what you pay for. hope its back up soon for all of you.

I think I’ve read “you get what you pay for” over 100 times on varying media outlets. But it is true to a large extent I must say. But I just chalk it up to they use the money from all their satellite services to pay for server maintaining. They make alot of money due to their network, they wouldn’t want it to go down I’m sure. But they had to pay for outside experts to come in and diagnose where the hack originated and what damage it caused, and how to reverse it, etc. They had to pay for all those hours of labor and service with funds from somewhere. /end rant =(

Anyway, glad to see that there are more than 2-3 PS3 players here :smiley:
I’ve got a sort of a small crew running content, release night so if you want to roll with some other people who are avid shooters just send me a request/invite whenever they bring the network back up >_o

If anyone is interested I’m hosting a U.S release day tournament. My idea is to celebrate Brink’s PS3 release with a contest of noobs. Obviously U.S PS3 people only; and certain honor rules will be necessary, but I think it’ll be fun!
