Feel free to add me if anybody wants to play. My psn username is the same as my username here.

Gonna be rollin’ the war drums in about an hour or so. If anyone’s still on, you know where to find me. 'Bout 20,000XP from having my 6th Rank 5 character.
I would say, unless the current objective dictates otherwise, metabolism boost. Since MB is ā€œpermanentā€ (lasts until player dies), and SB is temporary (lasts X seconds).

Obviously, if you’re doing a carry objective, or if you die really far away, this argument changes.

Back on topic: I have enjoyed playing with each and every person that has added/requested me to their friends list. My hope is that this has been mutual.
It has been mutual my friend AND you have the greatest name of all time! LOL :penguin:

This

And most definitely this.

I had some problems with my broadband connection last night - lagged a bit, and got booted from multiple matches for timing out…was generally able to rejoin, but kept putting me on the opposite team i had just been playing with (i wasn’t switching on purpose)…still fun as **** though. until i had to bail early to pick up by better half from the airport (i really wanted to avenge the pair of losses my side had just been dealt)

(R_Shackelford) #68

I don’t think it was just you. Lots of people had issues timing-out. A few of us even timed out, didn’t actually disconnect from the PSN, and then when we ā€œsigned back inā€ in Brink, it would show empty friend lists.

I had one weird occurrence, where I timed out, and I was pissed because I had had a couple other times where I timed out and lost all my XP, but I quickly joined back in, and miraculously, I had the same match XP as when I was dropped.

P.S. Good job team on the shipyard missile hack success in 25 seconds overtime. Aw yeah, baby!

well in a way im glad it was not only me and yes shipyard was one of many reasons this game is great!!!

(digitalzero) #70

Last week there were no disconnects and know this week there are many. I wonder what is going on.

(LubedScotsman) #71

UC3 beta and a couple other online multiplayer demos for free in the store. More people been on PSN gaming the past month or so then ever before!

+1 on glad it wasn’t just me…although I’d never wish network troubles on anyone. I lost my XP a couple times last night too - but no such miracles for me when i got back in…but i cant complain - all the fun group play has made leveling up my soldier/op all the more fun

the shipyard battle was pretty epic. one of the more chaotic QQ-battles in a while (seems like the hacking objectives always bring this out)…def enjoy the ā€˜could’ve gone either way’ matches, especially when they go back and forth like they seem to do. wont be on tonight, but will see y’all this weekend. may even try and track down a mic

(thesuzukimethod) #73

oh right. that makes sense. I’m not bashing, b/c UC2 is a fave of all time of mine and i think UC3 will be epic, but i was meh about the beta - i think it’s partly due to connection/lag/crashing issues i had, and more b/c i realized i really just wanted to be playing brink.

(LubedScotsman) #74

Was never big on UC although I do agree its a great series, especially for those loving that kind of gameplay and action adventure stories. The beta seems ok but does something I hate, gives a ā€œnameā€ to a level and then its more of a theme to it rather then an actual location, guess Brink is spoiling other games for everyone these days. Hahahahaha does looks epic though and I am sure the singleplayers will be the shining gem of the game, not the Multi, like usual.

(digitalzero) #75

True. Hopefully it will calm down and we can get back to the fun!

(digitalzero) #76

That would be really cool. Brings a whole new level of fun.

(thesuzukimethod) #77

yeah - i get a lot out of listening - both strategy-wise and having fun. it would be cool/fun to contribute to both i figure.

(Grownugly) #78

I’ve tried big team games the last 3 night but haven’t seen anybody.

(digitalzero) #79

This has been a busy week for me. Are you part of the chat group? Let me know and I’ll get you hooked up.

(Grownugly) #80

I’m not so keen on the chat groups. Are you guys doing private or public games?
