I saw that comment and it looks legit. But wouldn’t that only be a problem with downloading it? How can there be too much trafic installing it on my system if its already been downloaded? Oh well ill just have to try after a cpl rounds of Section 8 lol

Unfortunately I uninstalled the game already and don’t feel like reinstalling it. So I guess I’ll never see the DLC that was originally promised in…June

is it possible that you guys started downloading before the store was fully updated? I’m not sure this is possible, but it almost sounds like when a chunk of the file is missing altogether. is there a way to delete the DLC file altogether and try over? (i assume someone has already tried this, but thought i’d try and help out). it downloaded for me, but i wont have time to play till tomorrow - i’d switch with one of you if i could.

I was able to install.

  1. turn on PS3 and go online.
  2. launch Brink and select character. I’m not sure if this is needed but it is what I did.
  3. close game and go to the PSN store.
  4. find DLC in add-ons and download.
    Do not download in the background just let it load.
    After it finished, I restarted the game and the new maps were there.
    Hope that helps.

We all tried deleting and reinstalling everything, only the DLC has issues, even the Pre order stuff was no prob… What does the file size say under information for the DLC for you on your playstation?

I’ve got Xfinity and I downloaded it and a few demos of the store and set the machine to turn off after download (which also installs downloads before shutting down).

When I turned it back on and fired up Brink the DLC was installed.

I had no problems downloading as soon as the DLC came out, and I did it as a background download also. Sorry PS3 buds

Yeah Digital I finally caved and tried the install from the store again, had gotten corrupted data a few times but it finally worked. Def try installing from the store and if it doesnt work try again cause it will eventually. So happy now time to play, awwww fudge wait, have to edit initial post and send out messages to the others, cant leave them hanging now a fix is found…

I tried reinstalling it this AM before work and still got the same message. I had done the download straight to install 3 times last night and got the same error. Maybe ill delete it and retry that method when I get home from work. But come on this DLC should’ve been 100% smooth with all the time they took to fix the bugs. Oh well if I can get on it later itll be alright but still BS.

We believe this is down to the servers being very busy at this time. I’d recommend you reattempt the download at another time. If you have any ongoing issues with the DLC download, feel free to begin a thread here in the Tech Help forum and we’ll look into it. Alternatively contact the official Tech Support team.

Well they probaly wanted to share the sadfaces:( throughout all the ports. PS3 gets teh install error, xbox gets it late, and the PC just gets everything lol
