[PS3] PSN back on in time for Brink's release?

Anyone think PSN will be back online for our release date 13th [or even America’s 10th]?

Not that it’ll be a huge problem because there’ll be the Campaign to run through and attempt to Platinum.

I was under the idea that yes, it would be up by monday. But now, given Sony’s response, I’m leaning more towards thursday/friday sadly. But, this will give me time to do the challenges and get a strong hold on gameplay before getting owned online at least.

Oh well! It’ll come back when it’s ready.

Yeah I’m not holding out for a specific date for the return of the PSN but I just wondered what other people thought.

My money is on PSN coming back online next weekend. I own a ps3 and love both of my systems, but will be playing on 360. The reason being, most of my friends are on live and not PSN. The entire situation with Sony has been disappointing, but I’m glad they are taking their time and not rushing the network back up. That said, not being able to play Killzone3 and socom 4 online has been quite depressing, although I would have been going back to the gears3 beta no matter what.

it seems like on last friday they just let everyone go home for the weekend and stopped caring

they should just put it back online, without the updates, then just install the updates/new security when they are ready to be installed

this is most likely due to government being involved and all the FBI investigations and stuff

I agree with you on that one; Sony putting the PSN back on and update later, but I guess the situation got worse when Sony announced that peoples Credit/Debit card details may have got hit…

I’m hoping PSN is back up and running by Thursday at least… Alot of customers got screwed when they purchased games recently for PS3 and expected to go into Multiplayer. :rolleyes:

psn is not psn store, you can have the network up without having the CC side of things up

really all they need is the matchmaking servers so people can play online while they wait

At least by time it does come back on, sadly all PS3 players will be on the same level online. God I hope it just does come back on at all by this coming weekend.
