Ok so I just got booted from my PSN and when I logged back in and hopped on brink it says data corruption. Restart my PS3 and same thing. Had 4 lvl 20s and a few lowbies all gone…wow I feel like I wasted a lot of time. Happen to any1 else?:eek:

Had it happen to me once. I shut down, restarted brink, and they were back after 1-2x. needless to say, i backed up my save files next.

Thats what some1 else said. Im in the middle of restarting it but nothing 
What a huge pain this would be. Gonna restart again but WTF grrrr put in like 150 or more hours what a waste

Restarted it 4 times or more. All still gone. I think I may have to hang up my Brinks after this. To start over really makes me extremely angry…

before you give up all hope - you might try deleting the GAME data off of your ps3 (obviously dont delete the SAVE data). I show a 14 MB file in my game data folder. Then when you launch brink again, it will re-write this file - if the corruption is in the GAME data, you should be ok?
You might want to wait to see if anyone chimes in about /this. Im no expert, and it’s not time sensitive, so better to be cautious about deleting stuff - I’m not sure if it will work, and I’m only 99% sure there is no way this would hurt anything.
You should probably back up the SAVE data to a jump drive anyway. maybe first back up SAVE data to a jump drive and then restoring it might fix it? dunno. couldn’t hurt.
