Just because you lose 1v1’s 90% of the time doesnt mean others do. I have seen many proxies leading teams to victory including being hard to kill. Find a weapon that suits you or practice more.
and 25 seconds to deploy one mine? seriously?

Yeah sorry but Proxy is fine (maybe just the wrong merc for you). Infact I have friends refusing to play DB just because of fucking OP Proxy :smile: .

Anyways as with other low HP mercs. You gotta utilize their movementspeed. Use it to dodge shots.
And most importantly, flank, flank, flank. Infact Proxy since she doesn’t have to support her teamates is the best flanker in the game. Get behind and shot people in the back.

Lay the mines around corners and unto objectives, they stay forever will give, you easy kills and at worse slow your enemies down. They can be used offensively aswell. Throw them into a defensive position people either have to move out, or kill themself (or atleast their deployables) disabling it. If they do neither you can shoot your own mines and kill them all.

As for repairing to be honest the higher HP of Bushwhacker and Fletcher will equate to 2-3 shots more at most. If you are repairing you gotta have to relay on your teammates to keep you save its the same for all engineers. Granted Bushwhacker can use his turret as cover. But so can Proxy by laying some security mines beforehand and she has the advantage to get the most defusing attempts (best lemming).

Also, buff? Lol. Proxy can, if she catches them off guard win a 1 v 3. Mind you you need to be fast, drop a mine in the right spot, and hope you hit it with a shotgun. It rarely happens but it’s beautiful when it does.

I completly sucks with her (and aura) so i don’t use them but she definitely doesn’t need any buff, she is a pain enough as she is (stupid proxy mines on objective)

Proxy is fast and has effective weapons. For making the merc balanced, lower HP is the downside of being fast and carrying strong weapons.

I’m not playing with Proxy often, but last time when I was playing with Proxy, that shotgun impressed me. Very strong and easy to get opponents down quickly.
I found it funny that people that are mainly playing with faster mercs are complaining about Phantom (even after the nerf :smiley: ) meanwhile Proxy is carrying that shotgun that can get Phantom down easily and quickly if used right.
