Friendly proxy mines shouldnt emit noice to friendlies and have more distinguished look for friendlies when thrown on the ground before it activates.
Proxy mines.
Not sure why everyone is so annoyed at OP, this is something that could actually be discussed.
Being able to properly distinguish who’s mine it is might make Proxy a lot less “annoying”. I’ve shot at a lot of friendly mines before they deployed and flashed blue.

Meh, shoot it and get over with it, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal to even bother implementing tbh…maybe make it blue regardless of whether it’s activated or not, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal, there’s a million other things I’d rather see first…
…and they all have to do with proxy in other ways…
I’m up for different friendly-enemy mine sounds (and probably different deployable like turrer as well)
But that’s that I guess
What I really wish was that friendly explosives like airstrikes and artillery sounded different. Half the time I end up running for cover and picking up my med station just to be sure, it’s actually a friendly one, I just couldn’t see the marker.
Not to mention airstrike flares always appearing red when thrown, wtf?

Yeah…sometimes it’s really hard…when like half the players are Proxy…afraid to run anywhere because you hear beeps everywhere…especially on maps that have multiple levels with the way sound functions…you hear the noise from down below you…slowing down so much makes you a easy target.

I’ve had two games since the update where the entire team is Proxy.
I hate it when one of my mains is on free rotation, especially with Proxy. I usually don’t mind her and find her easy to counter, but it bugs me when I have to switch mercs because my team insists on having 10 proxies who still won’t do the objective.

Wow…I can say I’ve been fortunate enough to have never experienced that myself.
But recently I’ve been seeing more teams playing explosive spam…teams stacked with Proxy, Fletcher, and Nader…then a healer.

New players always seem to gravitate towards snipers and explosive mercs.
Somehow I was always more drawn towards medics, but after Sparks and Phoenix, Vassili was my first merc.
I guess it does make sense, sniping seems like an easier job. You can just sit at the back and pick players off, when reality some bouncy Aura is killing you from across the map with her pistol.
Explosive mercs are the same for players who aren’t as confident with sniping. Why aim when you can blow up an entire room?
