Okay so everyone knows that swirling beeping sound from the mines, a very perceivable sound.
But when i am playing in casual ( sometimes even in comp ) i can see up to two Proxies per team, so when all of them lay down their mines around the objective and you hear that noise everywhere and you cant tell from the sound is it friendly or foe.
Imo teammate mines should be silent to you.
Also alot of Proxies use the tactic to just throw them and shoot it. In the heat of battle i keep seeing “grey” mines because they are not yet activated, and/if the mines host dies before shooting it, i cant know is the mine friendly or foe because it doesnt have any colour yet.
Not suggesting any nerfs, i just think its better for all that friendly mines dont make a sound and when your teams Proxy throws them down you can see that it is a friendly mine right away ( that they are not grey, but instantly blue )
