[Proxy mine bug] Proxy mine killed only 1 merc instead of 3

Hello everybody,
Here I am reporting a new bug that I found before few minutes while I was playing in execution mode on map Overground. Maybe this bug happened before too but I didn’t noticed that. This particular bug didn’t happened to me but it happened to player Hazmus since I was in spectator mode after I got killed. However, I think that this bug is related to proxy mine and not to particular player, map or gamemode so if you are getting into fixing bug then I suggest to start of proxy mine.

Bug summary:
Player Hazmus planted C4 on Pylon A and after some time he planted proxy mine near C4 to protect his C4 from defusing. Before proxy mine was activated he was killed and Aura started defusing C4. At the time when proxy mine was activated there were 3 mercs standing right on the proxy mine (2 Auras and 1 Vassili). Proxy mine was activated and exploded but it killed only Vassili and not other 2 Auras that were standing on the same location as Vassili. Here is video of situation: Click here

Comment:
Since projectile damage is 150 and mine projectile detection radius is 80 (according to Gamepedia) all those 3 mercs should died but I think that this happened because mercs were standing on proxy mine before it was activated. Numeros of times happened that 1 proxy mine killed 2 mercs at the same time and there is no reason why that shouldn’t happened here too. Please take this bug report in consideration.

Highly doubt this is a bug. One of the major features in Dirty Bomb that you are ignoring is the fact that explosions can be blocked by physical entities, i.e a player. For example, any skilled Fragger player should know that when lining up a spawn grenade, you must aim for it to detonate above the heads of the enemy team. If it were to detonate in front of the pack, the enemy player that is positioned in the front of the pack will take the majority of the blast radius, and those directly behind him will generally be unharmed or damaged minimally.

Another plausible reason is explosive damage is often shared among multiple people if they are close together (which is largely the reason why throwing a Fragger grenade into a health station of 6 people usually yields no kills).

I am unsure how mines handle terrain in Dirty Bomb as I don’t play Proxy, however I would make the assumption that if mines get placed on angles when deployed on an angled surface, that their explosion radius’ would also be in that direction, which could explain why the Vassili took the brunt of the damage.

Other than that, the pylons have been a hot discussion in terms of bugs, so there is no way to actually be certain what caused this to happen.
