props_box.../props_crate... have no sound, yes?

Hi there. :slight_smile:
I am playing with the idea of a more ‘puzzle oriented’ SP map and thought about ways of temporarily blocking enemies with pushable objects. Props_chairs are not good for that as they are destroyed immediately on contact with NPCs. So I created models and textures for the various props_boxes and _crates and started pushing them around. Besides the fact that the explosion timing of the crates is borked and the sliding is a little jittery, worst thing is the missing sound. After trying the keys ‘sound’,‘noise’ and ‘loopsound’ (read that in ‘g_props.c’) without success, I came to the conclusion that those entities are simply unfinished/abandoned and sound does not work with them.
So why do I post this? I have a faint hope that some coder (hint hint) replies with something like: ‘you need to set “slidesound” to “1”, stupid! ;)’
