Right. To start off; how to not sound like a self-righteous ignorant scrublord who’s vomit-green behind the ears.
This was an idea that popped into my head after slaving away at enough credits for a Rhino one night on an Execution gamemode server;
“How the flying glittery f*ck do I describe that thingy over near the thingy with the thingy to my team?”
And after a quick search on the forums for map callouts, nothing came up. So here I am, proposing a few. Contribute, approve, disapprove, troll, fart on them, I don’t care. These are just the ones I found myself using instinctively in the moments of intense teamwork (however rare these moments are), tryhard-ness and euphoric adrenaline rushes. Often all three.
Market:
- A Site (self-explanatory)
- B Site (once again)
- Bridge (the large white ramp/connecting bridge immediately to the left of Defender spawn)
- Bus (the big obnoxious red bus)
- Stairwell (inside the blue Dank Market building, where the ammo box is located)
- Mid, or Middle (that large open area connecting to a path towards B Site)
- Hole, or Hole In The Floor (building with the hole in the floor. Duh)
- Window, or The Window (the building ALL the Attackers run through towards A with the ammo box underneath the stairs)
Overground:
- A Site and B Site (yadda yadda)
- A Long (that huge straight path with d*ck all cover heading straight to A, leftmost path from Attacker side)
- A Short (Middle-ish path, through the building with the hole in the wall)
- Ammo Box B (ammo box building on the path towards B Site)
- Underpass (connecting A Site and Bee Site, tunnel below the middle-ish of the train)
- Train (somewhere on or near the train)
Currently these are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If I somehow become self-aware of more as I use them in-game, I’ll add them and you can decide on what to do with the gibberish that comes from my fingers dry-humping plastic buttons.
If I can be bothered enough or if people start wanting it later, I’ll get my hands on the birds-eye views of the maps and mark things very professionally with MS Paint
