(onu123) #1

having a little probleme here… if im trying to play my map it says that team_wolf_checkpoint must have a “scriptname”!!! the thing is that, i dont have that team_wolf_checkpoint!
can any1 help me???

(DerSaidin) #2

You could try opening the .map file in a text editor (back it up if your unsure), then use the text editors find function to look for any team_wolf_checkpoints you might have.

tnx ill try that

edti: 1000 thanx, it worked just fine!!!

(psyco_mario) #4

its easy to press L and bring up the entity list

(onu123) #5

anyho, it worked too
a pic of map, im workin with:
(those replys are there because i have no sky or anything around the map)

On another note: looking at the helmet of your player, it seems you are playing you’re map in an unclean version of W:ET.

It’s best to map in a clean environment, basicly a copy of your whole W:ET folder with all unnecessary pk3’s thrown out.

i have many other questions??? how to re-select objects (pieces of map),when i have already unselected them? i ask it because i made a small piece of map, with no textures, can i re-select those prats??? realy need it!

(Shaderman) #8

AFAIK you can’t.

(kamikazee) #9

If you are talking about the brushes in GTKRadiant: SHIFT + click on them.

I would also sugest to read the manual. It contains quite some usefull info, including the “group select” functions.

(Shaderman) #10

Isn’t he talking about an undo function for selections? Not sure…

(onu123) #11

anyway, im not using different topics for MY problems.
So i have another problem: when i load my map it says:“SV_SetBrushModel: NULL”
ive checked all of the brushes myself, but i found nothing thats wrong (the problem came after i built some doors)

(EB) #12
  1. open the .map file in radiant
  2. in the “texture window”, select the “origin” texture and then press SHIFT+A(this will highlight all of the brushes, containing the origin texture, within the map)
  3. use this scenario over and over again to find and check each origin brush’s use…
(Origin brushes cannot be used in the “open world” of the map ((aka: they have to be coupled to an entity)) )
  4. delete any that are NOT coupled to an entity, check the use by using the (n key).

May be the origin of a door.

(psyco_mario) #14

Or you might have 2 orignins for a door :stuck_out_tongue:

(onu123) #15

since nothing helped, i just checked the enties list and what did i see???
ofcourse somehow there was about 20 useless asn modeless func_door_rotating-s
so i deleted all doors and re made them
