problems with gtk + vista (crash and so on)

Hi there

I am currently working on some map, but i experience some problems.

some info: i run Vista.

fist i started out with gtk radiant 1.5
fun thing is, i see the goldrush.map, but once i save may map, it looks like its is not on my disk ?
but once i get send a map through xfire by a friend i do see the map displaying in the save path.

at that moment i try opening it with gtk 1.4, this works, i see the map, and can
compile it.

but now the next problem turn up.
after creating the .bsp file, i like to test the map (ofc)
but once starting the map, ET crashes during the loading of the map.

the coordinates of the map are set correct (but et crashes even before the map is totally loaded)

any1 knows how to fix this problem ?

Euhhmm You run everything as administrator?

and yes, what you say about some things might be true, Just a wild guess now: You have saved it somewere in Program Files?

I’ve had that problem to: unzip somthing, like pak0.pk3 no files added. Even when I let my browser show all hidden files they didn’t come up. But then I gave everyone and everything premission to that folder, and now everything works fine.

ET crashes? hmm no idea why that should happen, as only for running as administrator.
