Problems with getting a model to light properly

Working on a submarine pen (falls under the classification of work to be cleaned up)

The two submarines are very dark. The original models are from Detoeni (very nice models by the way) and can also be found in the map, ‘Bergen’

They sink when dynomited and are script_movers with the appropriate model key. The script_mover also has _rs 1 and _cs_1. There should be sufficient light around it to at least throw some illumination on it.

Any ideas what I’m screwing up?

If I drop it in as a regular misc_gamemodel, it shows up fine

Does it work ok without _rs 1 and _cs 1?(in bergen its just set as a misc_model)
If so, then fake the ws shadows with a decal (its vertex lit, so theres no real point to useing rs).

i am not mapper , but i can see that your level is not lightet much naturally , maybe redo lighting first…

I think I got it worked out, deleted the _cs and _rs keys and added more lights down at the sub level.

Got everything worked out, with a new misc_gamemodel, lights, and lightsjunior (or would that be lightjuniors?)
