Problems with Autoexec.cfg

Hello, I have noticed a problems using autoexec.cfg. I have my autoexec.cfg in:
D:\Games\Steam\userdata\16106422\22350\local\base

This is the problem:
Brink loads and correctly execs my autoexec.cfg file. Settings are correctly applied at this time.
I then connect to a server using the “connect” command in the console screen. Settings are no longer set correctly and are either set to default or possibly to some other config file value. However, I don’t see a config file being executed in the condump file. To remedy this, I must manually exec my autoexec.cfg which then correctly executes.

What I want:
To have autoexec.cfg settings to stay saved after joining a server.

Notes:I thought seta = archive setting. Going to try a saveconfig or writeconfig command to see if that solves my problem.

My condump
For speed and clarity, I recommend CTRL+F the following terms “autoexec.cfg”, “m_pitch” and “sensitivity” Those search querys will show you those settings after the game loads and after I join a server. I have also seen this problem with s_volume_VoIPOut_dB and related VOIP settings although they aren’t shown here.

Thank you for the reply, but moving the autoexec files to that directory doesn’t work either. It appears to be cvar specific. For example, r_displayrefresh and s_numberofspeakers will save just fine and carry over to the server. However, m_pitch, s_volume_voipout_db, sensitivity, and some others do not.
