Problems launching?

Anyone have a problem with the game downloading and launching but the processes closes without any errors? Finally got DB cleared by my antivirus after 2-3 months and it worked last week but isn’t spawning any more. Even tried with AV disabled and then uninstalled. Even redownloaded it.

it may be linked to windows update kb3000850 but that gives me an error and it doesnt seem to affect everyone.

I removed the optional windows update kb3000850 as Stealth187 suggested and that fixed the issue for me.

Looked at Stealth187’s suggestion and that update was the only change I had made to my system before the issue happened. I don’t know how Stealth187 figured it out, but it saved me a lot of trial and error.

@missmurder maybe nexon can have a look into this with MS… here we have minimum 3 players with problems after kb3000850 i think many more will solfe they problems if they will try this but first they need to figure out that there is a problem related to a MS patch.

glad to help, also glad it isn’t just me but it doesnt seem to affect everyone though, at first i thought it was a graphics driver update but luckily i remembered that there were also some windows updates that i had done or i would never have known what the problem was.

edit @MissMurder‌ i emailed nexon support with the crash message i was getting but didn’t hear anything back, in case it helps it was related to ntdll.dll which was updated.

Yeah we are aware of the windows issue and still waiting to hear back when this could be resolved.

I am guessing since they are moving to steam it will work then, from what i read it is only an issue with nexon launcher and that xigncode thing, i was trying to find the software to try compatibility mode or something but never found it lol

The problems with tehe wondows update are gone for me since the game is on steam. I have kb3000850 installed now and the game is running fine!
