problems in commandmap

i followed another thread to make 3 different commandmaps at 3 different heights…
the circle+triangle representing a player isnt always shown and the flags of the wobjs arent displayed but i can spawn there (even if i did not want to do so) without selecting the not-displayed flag…

( if i build something the spawns are enabled, if the contstruction is destroyed it is disabled )

anyone knows the reason?

The “layered” command maps seem to be bugged in stock W:ET.
AFAIR it should be fixed in Pro mod.

do you have an etpro server?
perhaps you could test my map with me

its pretty easy to host your own ETpro server. Just download the mod (if you don’t have it already) open et, click on mods, change to ETPRO and there /map yourmap :slight_smile:

oh yes… i forgot … cause i tested with 2.55 … (mods menu is missing)
i solved the problem with teleporters instead of spawns…
i thought it would be the best to have buttons at the spawn which teleport you to the imaginary spawn

I had a multilayer command map in praetoria. I noticed that your command map icons will only show up on your level 0 command map. So for my spawns that I had on level 1, I moved the entity that represents the flag on the command map to level 0 but kept my spawn entities on level 1. I do notice though that the player’s position icon still pops off and on from time to time.

Did you base your contructable off the CP in Radar or Seawall? Those scripts come with built in spawn support when the cp is built.

my spawns were not displayed at any level…
no i always do it on my own, i do not use prefabs or “steal” scripts… all alone.
i just put 4 buttons at the spawn’s next wall which teleport you to the imaginary spawn
