problem with patches

can I use CSG commands or Clipper with a single patch?
is there a way to convert it to a brush?

you can split patches with bobtoolz or with ET radiant i think it’s already integrated, csg won’t work and as a rule of thumb i’d say never use csg, for me it always created little pieces of brushwork that sometimes caused errors or i was almost not able to find them again… everything you need to do is possible with 2/3 point clipping

afaik there’s no way to convert a patch to a brush but you can press ctrl+t to thicken it which will give you a similar result
