In competitive mode you play 5v5. So no way you was 3v6 at any moment of the game. The level doesnt represent a skill. It show you only game experience. Sometimes if one team team has more skill. They can completely destroy the other team. I guess that is you scenario.
If you played with hackers report them.
About team level. There many servers. Some anybody can join. Other have restrictions. So if you are level 6 you can play on servers that not allow player with higher level join(level 10 and above). IF you are level 2 you can join server that allow to join only players under lvl 5.
